Clarity Leadership was founded in 2009 by man and wife team, Phil and Lorraine Rose. Their unwavering mission since day one has been to empower teams and cultivate exceptional leaders.

Meet our team
David’s passion is leadership and enabling teams and individuals to solve complex people and business challenges that they face every day. He has over 30 years of successes and expertise in team leadership, transformation, change initiatives, commercialisation, product launches, partnership, commercial excellence and capability building.
He has led many diverse cross-cultural teams within complex diverse organisations. His extensive global, European and UK business and commercial experience includes many years of senior and C-suite roles; most recently CEO, Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma and Chief Marketing Officer, Vifor, in Zurich. Prior to that Otsuka, Pfizer and Sanofi.
David also works with and supports both the Princes Trust and McPin Foundation as a mentor. He loves to keep fit, enjoys a healthy lifestyle and has a microbusiness on the side growing and creating chilli products.
Tim provides insight and perspective to enable growth in others. He applies knowledge and skill from the world of Business Psychology to address challenges faced by Individuals, Teams and Organisations.
As an Accredited Coach Trainer, he helps to build “coaching cultures’ within organisations. As well as training others he coaches Leaders and Teams, employing coaching and facilitation techniques to create significant and sustainable change.
He is a recognised expert in the field of Executive Assessment. From designing and running Development Centres to individual Executive Assessments, Tim has significant experience of accurately understanding potential.
Tim has a MSc in Applied Psychology from Cranfield University, and has lived and worked all over the world, supporting leaders and businesses across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East from a wide range of industry sectors. He embraces challenge, as his solo charity cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End demonstrates.
Sam is an Executive Coach, a Performance Psychologist, an Accredited Psychotherapist and a Consultative Supervisor.
He has spent 10 years working with professional athletes - predominantly professional footballers and rugby players. The footballers and athletes he works with perform at the highest levels of sport, internationally and in the English Premier League. In recent years he has also coached high-performing senior executives, business owners and business leaders. These clients come from across the globe - the UK, America, Australia and Asia.
Sam's an enthusiastic, energetic and vibrant professional with a passion for people. He recognises that we are all individuals – each of us has our strengths, and each of us has our own challenges. His passion is to identify those strengths and challenges and to develop the potential that undoubtedly lies within each one of us.
But of course, unique individuals make unique teams. Sam will also use his passion and energy to identify the dynamics within teams – to spot where these can be enhanced, and all-round performance improved.
Sam also attends as a keynote speaker for companies such as Hewlett Packard, Nestlé, Citibank and MBDA.
Sam has extensive experience across the NHS, Pharmaceuticals, Devices, Diagnostics, and Life Sciences. Her global career includes senior leadership roles at Roche Diagnostics, leading and coaching across 35 countries—including APAC, the Americas, and EMEA—driving personalised healthcare initiatives in pharma and diagnostics. Clients describe Samantha as enthusiastic, energetic, and personable. She is passionate about connection and has a gift for bringing out the best in individuals and teams. Her work blends practical business insight with lived leadership experience, enabling leaders to grow with authenticity, resilience, and impact.
Outside of work, Samantha’s love of the mountains and adventure comes to life—whether hiking, cycling, skiing, or facilitating purposeful pause leadership retreats.
In her personal time, Samantha is a dedicated volunteer coach with the Women’s Impact Alliance, supporting 1–2 exceptional women leaders (Catalysts) each year. The Alliance accelerates women leaders driving social and environmental change into positions of influence for a more just and sustainable world.
Managing the administrative and organisational needs of our busy team of business coaches is no mean feat. Lorraine rises to this challenge on a daily basis, ensuring that business coaches are in the right place, at the right time and with the right materials. Her communication and administration skills are second to none; giving our client companies the confidence that every aspect of their programme, from the initial proposal to the follow-up, is managed with care and professionalism.

Jo is a lively, intuitive coach who supports clients in getting to the heart of issues. Qualified to an advanced level, she has spent over 20 years coaching and consulting as a Chartered Psychologist. In her coaching, Jo challenges people to discover how they are holding themselves back and how they can drive themselves forward. She is recognised for the safe space she creates for clients to work at depth, and this leads to profound and sustainable change. Jo works flexibly, drawing on the approach that best serves the client and integrating psychological models and tools. She is accredited in a range of reputable psychometric tools which can be used to deepen client awareness around their preferences and impact, for example to enhance emotional intelligence.
Working internationally, Jo has extensive experience with clients ranging from newly promoted managers to the c-suite, in varied sectors including finance, legal, energy, technology, professional services, pharmaceuticals, insurance and the public sector. In addition to coaching, she specialises in leadership development and assessment activities, creating robust approaches that incorporate current research to help organisations select, grow and retain talented people. She has particular expertise in providing psychometrically-informed individual assessments.
Outside work, Jo loves travel, spending time with her family and the odd spot of gardening. She also harbours an ambition to play the harmonica – a work in progress!
Alina is deeply committed to unlocking the potential of leaders and organisations through strategic coaching, cultural transformation, and leadership development. With over 20 years of experience across multiple sectors, Alina brings a rich and varied perspective to her coaching, shaped by her background as a founder, board member, and senior leader.
Throughout her career, Alina has co-founded and led multiple ventures. She has led businesses through growth, change, and innovation. Her leadership journey spans operations, strategy, and culture, giving her a grounded understanding of the challenges leaders face in today’s dynamic landscape.

Adam is dedicated and committed to the development and success of individuals and teams. Throughout his career, Adam has held senior leadership positions in global health and fitness brands, built and successfully sold a gym, and consulted for National Governing Bodies. He has also designed and delivered development programmes for global brands in over 20 countries,

He is a member of the International Coaching Federation and holds a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from the prestigious Henley Business School, an MBA, and is in the final year of an MSc in Coaching and Behaviour Change.
Laura is a Voice and Speaking Skills Coach who supports individuals and teams to improve their verbal communication in the workplace.
She works with aspirational, talented individuals and senior business leaders. She devises and runs bespoke workshops for teams and coaches individuals to feel more confident, look more authoritative and sound more compelling when delivering their business messages online or in person.
Over three decades she has amassed significant experience of working with mid-to-large sized UK and global organisations across many services and industries, including BP, GSK, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, Baxter, Deliveroo, Glassmoon Services, Baker Tilly Accountancy, PWC, Zurich Financial Services, Microsoft, Bright Horizons, Mark Warner Holidays, Disney and the University and Colleges Union.
Beyond the business community Laura offers Voice and Dialect Coaching for actors in film, theatre and TV roles. Recently this has included working with actors such as Kate Winslet, Saoirse Ronan and Josh O’Connor in award winning independent films ‘God’s Own Country’ and ‘Ammonite’; BBC drama ‘Life After Life’ and ‘Sexy Beast’ a new drama series for Paramount Plus.
Meet Ruth, the adept overseer of the Finance function at Clarity Leadership. With a decade of experience as a qualified management accountant in the insurance industry, Ruth has seamlessly navigated roles in both Bermuda and Dublin. Beyond her professional achievements, Ruth takes on the role of chauffeur for her three energetic children and indulges in her passion for travel. She also dedicates her time to community service as a Governor for a local primary school.

Priya Hunt is a leadership coach, facilitator, and author with over 30 years of global corporate experience across 84 countries and senior roles at British Airways, BT, and Thames Water. She combines academic depth—MBA, MSc, and a PhD in progress on psychological Flow—with practical insight from her corporate leadership and designing and delivering leadership programmes for senior teams, talent pipelines, and women in leadership.
Priya lectures in Leadership, Organisation and Behaviour at Henley Business School and has also taught at the University of Cambridge. A certified executive coach (ICF PCC, EMCC Senior Practitioner), she helps leaders become more reflective, confident, and effective communicators. Her approach blends neuroscience, emotional intelligence, high energy and creativity—shaped by her lifelong passion for Indian classical dance.
An accomplished author, Priya has written four books and contributed chapters to three others.
Chris draws on more than 30 years of business experience, 25 of which were spent with Microsoft, climbing through the ranks to become senior Vice President. His most high-profile and demanding leadership role was leading the Interactive Entertainment Division, driving the Xbox and all related business threads across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
During this time Chris led the Sales, Marketing, Digital and Operational functions for a £2.5bn P&L; leading three Xbox launches and regional expansion into Russia and Central and Eastern Europe. He was the lead spokesperson throughout this period for print, digital and Broadcast Media including regular slots on BBC, ITV, CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, Sky News and Radio 4’s Today Programme.
Before taking this role, Chris was Regional Vice President, Retail Sales and Marketing EMEA, driving the sales and marketing of all Microsoft products through Retail.
Chris is a skilled leader and influencer and has successfully managed operational change programmes, sales channel optimization, B2B and corporate sales. He is well respected within his field and has proven a valuable addition to the Clarity portfolio of business coaches and facilitators, enjoying success not only in IT but also in pharma and communications.
We are thrilled to welcome Claire back to Clarity Leadership as our Programme Operations Manager, where she oversees programme logistics and contributes to the successful implementation of our leadership development programmes. Claire is a highly accomplished operations manager known for her strategic leadership and meticulous attention to detail. Her career in training and educational administration began at the University of Oxford, where she served as Divisional Academic Appointments Officer, overseeing critical academic personnel processes with precision for six years. Transitioning to Hames Associates Limited as Practice Manager, Claire demonstrated exceptional organisational skills and adeptly managed operational workflows. Her career then flourished at West Berkshire Council, where she excelled as a dedicated School Administrator, playing a pivotal role in enhancing administrative efficiency and supporting educational initiatives. With over two decades of experience in diverse educational and training settings, Claire continues to drive operational excellence and organisational success here at Clarity.
Dr. Cameron Nichol is a medical doctor, two-time world silver medalist, former Olympic rower, and founder of RowingWOD, a company dedicated to inspiring and empowering athletes to master rowing.
Cam started rowing at medical school, quickly climbing the ranks to the Great Britain Rowing Team. He was invited into the Olympic squad just three years after first picking up an oar. Cam went on to win two World Championship silver medals in the men's eight and was selected into Team GB for London 2012 in the spare men's pair.
Since the Olympics, Cam qualified as a doctor and has been practising in the NHS since 2015. His passion for elite performance, both individuals and teams, has catalysed his work in the startup scene where he's founded his own venture, RowingWOD, and advises others in the health, fitness and fit-tech scene.
Other notable projects include his work as an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, coach to the UK's first team to reach the CrossFit Games and is an accredited International Olympic Committee sports physician, recently attending the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games as part of the medical team.
Cam has worked with many elite sportspeople, executives, armed forces personnel and regular gym-goers to overcome challenges and solve problems. His knowledge from time as an Olympic athlete, medical doctor, coach and entrepreneur gives him a unique perspective for individuals and teams aiming to succeed in their chosen field.
As Co-Founder and Director of Clarity, Lorraine is involved strategic development of new services and sharing the Clarity brand through events and workshops. Her career background is sales, training and recruitment, she is motivated by enabling forward thinking and productive working environments and colleague relationships that enable individuals to operate at their best. In her spare time, Lorraine competes in Triathlon and enjoys the challenge and variation that this sport offers.
As CEO of Clarity Leadership, Phil stays true to the company’s vision of “developing leaders to inspire teams who drive performance”. Phil coaches top-level management worldwide to be better leaders; to provide clarity, model conviction and to enable their teams to exceed their business goals. His inspirational, challenging, pragmatic and personal approach has brought success to many senior executives.
His team development programmes have delivered dramatic results; Phil knows the value of action and brings a sense of adventure and challenge to his programmes that stems from a belief that everyone has choice. By making this choice, leaders and teams can define their destination and clearly define the route to achieve their goal. Phil worked for Microsoft for ten years initially in a Training role and latterly in Enterprise Sales. Through experiencing different leadership styles and managing teams he recognised that success came from those teams who possessed clarity and alignment of a compelling goal coupled with the dedication and rigour to execute a plan. Phil founded Clarity Leadership in 2009. This same motivation which inspired Phil to set up his own business, is evident in other areas of his life. He has a passion for adventure and endurance sports which has led him to climb Mont Blanc and Mt Kilimanjaro, complete the Arctic Circle Race in Greenland, compete in Cape Epic 1000km mountain bike race in South Africa, ski mountaineer the Alps Haute Route and run 3 marathons in 3 days.
Rob is a founder member of the Clarity team and a trusted adviser and business coach to many clients. His strength lies in his ability to ask the right questions and facilitate change in individuals and their teams. Rob believes in and demonstrates authentic leadership, enabling others to become better communicators and in turn, more successful leaders and managers.
His role takes him all over the world, working with different cultures and business sectors. Rob has enjoyed particular success within the pharmaceutical industry - this has grown organically through professional recommendations rather than a particular preference; Rob will be the first to agree that the challenges faced by leaders transcends industries and he is equally at home working in telecoms, IT and retail.
Rob is a dynamic, energetic and inspirational speaker; facilitating team meetings for our clients and getting results where stagnation and frustration once lie. He is a highly creative and intuitive individual who traded a music career for a career in performance coaching and training 20 years ago and has never looked back. Previous roles have included presenting a motor sport programme on the Discovery Channel and facilitating global conferences.
His personal interest in psychotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming brings enormous benefit to the people that he coaches, sharing skills and methodologies, that in turn enable them to be better mentors and leaders to their own teams.

Kevin is a highly-experienced coach and facilitator, designing and delivering high impact transformation programmes for senior leaders and their teams. He also acts as consultant to several boards of global organisations as well as local business owners.
He’s passionate about making a difference in today’s organisations by enabling, encouraging and challenging leaders who want to create and sustain meaningful change. His expertise covers leadership coaching, developing high performance teams and organisational design.
Kevin combines a supportive, results focussed approach with the practical tools he has acquired throughout his career. His industry experience spans over thirty years in retail, notably as part of the senior team responsible for the transformation of Selfridge to the iconic retailer it is today.
A qualified coach and Master Practitioner in NLP, Kevin quickly assimilates concepts, ideas and information in a complex and ambiguous environment giving him the ability to work with a diverse range of organisations, functions and people.
Kevin also gets involved with fund raising activities for several charities, specifically as a business mentor for the Prince’s Trust. He’s well-travelled and reached a life-long ambition in 2007, sitting with mountain gorillas in Rwanda with his daughter.

🧠 Fascination with Neuroscience: Driven by her fascination with neuroscience and a belief in human potential, Sarah has found her calling as an executive leadership coach. Her diverse experiences uniquely position her to guide leaders toward success.
🏅 Leadership Roles: In addition to her coaching work she served as Chef de Mission for Team England in 2018, leading a team of over 400 athletes and 150 support staff during the Commonwealth Games. Notably, in 2021, she became the first female umpire for the Men’s Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race. Sarah has also contributed as a Non-Executive Director, including serving on the UK Anti-Doping Board.
🥉 Olympic Bronze Medallist and Double World Champion: Sarah’s personal achievements are equally remarkable. During her time studying at Cambridge she balanced her academic studies, with her love of sport, and represented the University in netball, athletics, basketball and rowing.
🎖️ MBE Recipient: Sarah was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2015 for her contributions to sport and young people. Additionally, she is a passionate campaigner for Huntington’s disease charities, having tested positive for the gene mutation while at university.

Mark’s passion is helping clients who want to achieve professional and personal change. He supports people and organisations to make empowered and meaningful choices and decisions.
He is an accredited member of the International Coaching Federation. His coaching experience includes executive and leadership coaching, career transition support, team and cultural development, and strategic and operational improvement.
Mark’s 28-year corporate career was in Consumer Goods and Global Brands where he worked in Senior Leadership roles leading EMEA teams. His expertise lies in supporting organisations to deliver high levels of performance through periods of change. He believes in the creation of collaborative and effective environments where teams can thrive, be empowered and deliver exceptional results.

Michelle is an accredited executive coach, leadership development consultant, former HR Director, and wellbeing advocate with over 25 years’ experience. She has intentionally built a portfolio career with leadership, learning, and development at the heart - supporting people and organisations to perform, grow, and thrive.
She works with leaders in complex, high-pressure settings to achieve meaningful career success while protecting a healthy work–life balance. Her client base also includes organisations in healthcare, technology, logistics, agriculture, financial services, telecoms, management consultancy, and professional services, alongside private coaching clients.

Her consultancy focuses on designing and delivering strategies that build high-performing teams and strong organisational cultures. Michelle’s 20-year HR career spans professional services, consulting engineering, and pharmaceuticals. Beginning in London, she progressed through roles of increasing scope, culminating in an HR Director position for a global pharmaceutical company where she grew a business unit, led a site HR team, served on the leadership team, and guided a site reduction programme. She founded her coaching and HR consultancy in 2018.
In addition to leadership coaching, Michelle is a Certified Wim Hof Method Instructor and Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor. She integrates breathing habits training, breathwork, cold-water therapy, and science-backed practices into her work to improve focus, resilience, and stress regulation. By using cold exposure as a purposeful challenge for body and mind, she equips leaders to push past limits, sharpen attention, and elevate wellbeing - tools that sustain high performance in demanding environments.
Michelle believes anyone can define and achieve their version of success through personal growth, self-compassion, and a balanced approach to work and life. A committed advocate for self-care, she draws on her own experience of overcoming burnout to help others prioritise health and wellbeing. Outside work, she enjoys cold-water dipping, paddleboarding, yoga, running, and time with her two energetic teenage boys.
